Sales is NOT about technique or strategy.
Sales is about people.
It’s about transforming lives with the product or service you offer
and developing deep relationships.
Every resource you need to become a great sales person is elemental and abundant.
In fact, you've probably already collected several along the way.
The Elements of Success
A primitive approach to a civilized world.
The Elements of Success are symbols that represent the key characteristics and qualities, that in combination with each other, create the perfect environment for becoming a great salesperson.

Sun
The most fundamental of all the elements, the sun represents the warmth, brightness, and power from within, all of which are exhibited in your attitude. Your thoughts, your feelings toward those you interact and communicate with, and who you really are on the inside powers what you do on the outside.

Rock
Working smart and being efficient is wonderful, but it doesn’t substitute something even more basic: hard work. In order to accomplish everything that you want for yourself and for those most dear to you, you must be prepared to contribute an enormous amount of energy, blood, sweat, and maybe even a few tears. Your commitment to hard work must be as solid as a rock!

Fire
A great attitude and commitment to hard work will take you a long way on the journey towards achieving your goals; but your “why”, or your purpose, is the fire that will help guide you through the dark, challenging times.

Tools
We all have a toolkit we use to help us succeed in life and within our world. Just as a caveman's tools evolved over time, enabling him to thrive in a changing environment, we too must continuously add, sharpen, and hone those we already have. Each and every day we must strive to improve our craft and to engage in habits that yield a better self.

Village
Our lives are woven in the fabric of community, whose health and strength can serve as a measure of our own success. By adding value to the lives of our peers and fellow community members, and by helping those who are unable to help themselves, we can facilitate a happier, healthier whole.
